Puppies and Planned Litters
At Thistle Hill, we do not breed year-round. Our litters are planned thoughtfully and intentionally, with a focus on preserving the Siberian Husky as a healthy, sound, and temperamentally stable breed. Each breeding is considered carefully, taking into account the well-being of our dogs, appropriate recovery time between litters, and the long-term goals of our program.
This page reflects where we are in the process at any given time, from recently born litters to thoughtfully planned future pairings.
Current Puppies
Our most recent litter has fully transitioned to their new homes, with one puppy remaining with us briefly to gain early show experience before joining her family.
This litter marked an especially meaningful chapter in our program, and we are grateful for the thoughtful homes these puppies are now part of.
At this time, we do not have puppies immediately available.
Planned Litters for 2026
We currently have three litters planned for 2026. Timing may shift based on the health, recovery, and well-being of the dogs, as those considerations always come first.
Spring 2026
Reba
Reba is planned to be bred in the spring (March–April). We are currently evaluating complementary AKC CH or GCH studs and will make a final decision closer to her breeding window, prioritizing structure, temperament, and overall compatibility.
This litter is expected to produce confident, well-rounded puppies suited for active companion homes and performance-minded families.
Islay × Jacques
Islay is planned to be bred to Jacques in the spring (April–May). This pairing is intentionally focused on temperament and stability, with puppies expected to be well suited for families, first-time Siberian Husky owners, and select service or therapy prospects, depending on individual puppy aptitude.
Interest in this pairing is already strong, and most puppies are expected to be matched through families already in conversation with us.
Fall 2026
Revi × Jacques
Revi will be bred back to Jacques in the fall, following a skipped heat, for her final litter. This pairing represents the culmination of years of careful planning and development within our program and will mark Revi’s retirement from breeding.
If you are hoping to welcome a Thistle Hill puppy into your family, we encourage you to submit an application and join our waitlist. Most of our puppies are reserved through waitlist families, who are always the first to receive updates as breeding plans progress and puppies arrive.
How Placement Works
-
We do not place puppies on a first-come basis
-
Deposits are not accepted until puppies are born
-
Puppies are matched to homes based on temperament, lifestyle, and long-term fit
-
Puppies are placed with families who have taken time to learn about our program and process
